Giving Tuesday 2019

If you’d like to support The Diana Initiative and help us reach our goal of $20,000 in donations for #GivingTuesday, please use this form to donate today. Scroll down for more information about #GivingTuesday and how your support will help us with the 2020 conference. And keep your eyes on Twitter: We will be publicly thanking donors (who wish to be recognized) all day long.

#GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement that’s unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.

Whether you’re giving your voice, your time, goods, or your money, helping others or working for the causes you care about, generosity is one of the most powerful ways you can have an impact in the world.

For The Diana Initiative, #GivingTuesday is a chance to talk about our values and why we care so much about the work that we do.

Conferences have a lot of expenses you might not know about if you have never hosted a hotel-based event. Everything carries a price tag that seems a bit high, but often you must purchase everything as part of your conference package and can’t bring your own. For 2019, our goal is to raise $20,000 during #GivingTuesday in order to cover the cost of our A/V equipment and providing wi-fi during our 2020 event.

Each year our event costs (of approximately $80,000) are covered by a collaboration of community donations and corporate partners. The success of our prior events, and our ability to fund the event through this hybrid community and corporate partner collaboration, demonstrates how the Information Security and Technology community values what we do and supports our mission.
