What is Hacker Summer Camp?

It's the time period each summer when, usually in the before times, many Information Security / Cyber Security / Hacker Conferences occur in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. As a result many people spend the whole week in Las Vegas in the summer learning (and often partying) which has earned it the nickname "hacker summer camp".

Scholarship Program

Information Security is a constantly changing and evolving field. One of the best ways for us as a community to support those up-and-coming into our industry is to enable students to attend InfoSec conferences for their learning and networking opportunities, in this case “Hacker Summer Camp.” http://hackersummercamp.guide/ 

Members of our community will be offered the chance to apply for the scholarship

Applications Open: April 20 @ 8:00 AM PST

Deadline: May 3 @ 11:59 PM PST

Available Scholarships: 10

Our 10 scholarship awardees are getting:

• A Ticket to attend DEF CON (Donated by DEF CON) August 8-10th, 2025 https://defcon.org/ 

• A portion of the scholarship donations raised.
