A: I’m studying Computer Science with a focus on Cybersecurity at Bowie State University. This is my first year after transferring from Prince George’s Community College. I really enjoy learning more about cybersecurity through my coursework and extracurricular activities. So far, it’s been very rewarding, and I’m excited about what’s next.

Through events and workshops, I learned from various people in the field and was inspired by their dedication and passion, leading me to pursue a career in infosec.

However, as I got deeper into my education, I discovered a passion for creating solutions to complex problems through participating in various hackathons and cyber competitions. Q: What are you most looking forward to at Diana Initiative? What about in Las Vegas?
A: I’m really excited about connecting with other people in cybersecurity as well as the CTF competitions and workshops. I’ve never been to Las Vegas, so I’m eager to explore and embrace new experiences.
